The Physics Department was established in the year 2019 with the aim of imparting quality education and promoting scientific temper among students. The department follows a student-centric approach aligned with the principles of NEP 2020, emphasizing multidisciplinary learning, skill development, critical thinking, and flexibility in education. With an approved intake capacity of 90 students, the department ensures an effective teaching–learning process through a balanced blend of theory and practical exposure. Since its inception, the department has been committed to academic excellence, innovation, and outcome-based education, preparing students to meet contemporary academic, research, and societal challenges in accordance with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020.
